Aren't the stock 240SX rotors smaller than the 300ZX rotors? Thus, the OEM mounting bracket makes the caliper (even on a 300ZX-calipered 240SX) closer to the center of the hub than on the 300ZX (to accomodate the 10.x" rotors). And therefore, these brackets would have to be larger than we would need to accomodate the larger rotors. Simply put: The kit only specifys that you need the 300ZX calipers, not that the entire 300ZX brake conversion is done... which tells me that this kit might be assuming you're going from 10.x" to 12.75," which is a larger bracket than we'd need to go from 11" to 12.75." Thus, putting these brackets on a 300ZX might move the caliper out enough for a 13.75" rotor, and not the 12.75" 350Z rotors. If I'm wrong, PLEASE tell me, because I may be interested in doing the conversion if these would work.
